hi, im doing chinese sla 3/4 this year and i did not do the 1/2 unit and i am really struggling on the personal writing, my sac is next month and i feel really unprepared. Can anyone please give me advice on the elements of a good piece of personal writing, also can you please upload a sample personal writing essay. Thank you so much!

You might have trouble finding anything here as most people are doing SL. You can try digging around in TrueTears' stickied post and take a look at some of the stuff he has written in SLA, I'm not sure if he's uploaded a personal writing piece though.

For personal writing, all I do is try to convey my emotions or people with idioms or something that sounds really complex And just to let you know, it's okay to feel unprepared because I am too Also, plan your writing before you actually write it and try not to repeat the idioms or it will sound like you want to keep trying to use it! As for the sample, the highest I ever got for personal writing was 15/20 this year so I don't think that is good enough

ALSO, I'M DOING SLA SO PM ME ABOUT IT BECAUSE I BARELY FIND ANYONE DOING SLA HERE
