The neuro stuff is the hardest part in the course, the rest is alright. When I did it the guy gave us detailed notes for neuro part which was enough to learn from. For the exam, if you study you will do well. Try to cover everything. Don't worry too much about cropper's section bc he gives you a lot of practice questions. For the assignment, try to be comprehensive in all the ways that things change in appearance as it goes darker - colour, shapes, shadows etc. It is honestly one of the easier level 1 science subjects.

Do you have any tips for writing psych reports? Psych is what I'm majoring in, so I want to get the hang of everything this year, so I don't mess up in my second and third years.

Hey, you don't write reports until mbb2 and even then they ease you into it,  the first assignment is writing the intro and the 2nd assignment is a resubmission of the intro and the rest of the report. You have tutes dedicated to report writing and you willhave a lot of opportunities to consult your tutor who will be marking the assignment. If you are keen though, you can find  psychology journals through google scholar or discovery. Try to find a simpler research article and see what they're about, how the different sections are set up, how the Discussion relates to the research findings, how figures are set up etc. When it comes to the actual report writing you want clarity - in writing and presentation. Honestly tho don't worry until you get to mbb2.
