Good luck Joseph

Thanks man - would have given you the same had I seen this before the game.

Obviously pretty disappointing for Melbourne, but like, we were just comprehensively outplayed. Not overly upset about it because I think Collingwood were stellar. Really nice spread in particular is what I noticed - and shut down Melbourne's running game, too.

De Goey was amazing, Stephenson very good, Cox impressive. A good day for Collingwood fans overall, you'd have to say.

Glad the FightMND stuff all went well. Good result outside of footy!

No worries man.

Yeah that was the best I've seen us play in a while. To be fair though I don't think that was anywhere near Melbourne's best. The midfield was really not there at any moment of the game. I think that's where the game was won for us, we absolutely destroyed the clearances.

I hope we can keep this up throughout the season. It's been really tough supporting Collingwood for the last six years, especially when Buckley took over. We're finally playing some exciting brand of footy (going into the corridor, putting immense defensive pressure to create turnovers, 3rd and 4th efforts, team performances instead of individual performances, etc).

I reckon Melb will bounce back and still finish top 4. I hope they do.

Agree - game was won/lost in the middle. I don't think Gawn had his usual dominance (Grundy's influence, I guess). And we just seemed outnumbered at every contest. Like I said earlier, I thought Collingwood's spread was stellar - we were smashed time after time on the rebound.

Exciting times for you based on yesterday's game. I was really, really impressed with Collingwood. Definitely didn't pick them as a top four contender at the start of the year, but here we are!

Hope you enjoy the win. :)

Glass. That's all I'm going to say.

He hasn't done much these last two games anyway. Hopefully last Monday was his last ever game for us. With De Goey and Phillips having breakouts this season we don't need him anymore.

Hmm. Although Franklin was lauded as being "Influential", I didn't really like it... To much Ranch dressing on that free for my liking.. :(

Heeney awesome as always, Sinclair was nice... Did well to keep Nic Nat's influence in check imo.

Aliir Aliir was my biggest surprise tonight... Even that free he gave away I couldn't criticise...

Tbh, I reckon that Hayward could have done with another falcon around the 3qtr time mark, would have "got his head in the game"... :'(
Only one really great contribution, consistently missed his targets.

Overall, I liked our pressure, but without Lloyd and Grundy being strong, and Aliir's stellar work, Eagles would have sliced us open in the first half.

Can't argue with Yeo though. He was epic to watch, and his 3rd qtr goal was the best of the game.

Even I think the prediction is a stretch...

Prediction: North Melbourne by 45 points.

I rate the Dogs much higher than that tbh. They have always been a team that has been difficult for us.

I don't think it'll be a smashing but I reckon Port will win. It's at Adelaide Oval so you know... very difficult to win there. Given the tight comp I think your big wins may be beneficial in the end.

This is the % of people who tipped each team to win out of the Haw v GC clash this weekend. Very even results I say :) haha GC are in biiig trouble

I think the state of footy in Queensland is a genuine concern. Sporting clubs don't traditionally do well on the Gold Coast.
