Monash MBBS - Monash Guarantee

Hi,

I'm currently in Year 11, and have been quite keen to do medicine for a long time. I've been looking at courses, and I'd really like to gain entrance to Monash. I'd consider myself a good student, however I'm not not in the greatest of positions financially (no textbooks, internet, computer access except on select days), so it'd suit me to try entrance through the Monash Guarantee.
If anyone has applied through the Monash Guarantee, could you please tell me how entrance standards differ in comparison to mainstream entry (Is the ATAR much lower, UMAT scores, anything of the sort)? It'd allow me a bit of piece of mind.

According to this there seems to be a reserved amount of people. I'm not sure how many people that is, but the minimum requirements are an ATAR of 94 and a UMAT of 174 (I'm guessing that's around 80%ile).

Ah, thank you for that.  I've looked on that page, and searched for any information online about the number of reservations/standard of entry, but I can't seem to find much of value.
