Hi guys,
I'm really anxious over my future right now and i really really need your help! Long story short for a bunch of reasons my plan to get into law (hon)/arts at monash has pretty much gone out the window, and i've started to develop a keener interest in b.com - specifically economics. Problem is i don't meet the maths prereq required in either monash or melbourne, which are the two uni's i've set my heart on going to.
Ok so in
melbourne uni:
there's both b.com or b.art (majoring in econ) but i need the 25 in methods to get in with b.com or to major in econ with arts. so i've looked everywhere and found out something about bridging maths methods through uni learn [b(]does this take a whole extra year to do, btw?? is it 11/12 methods mashed together?)[/b] or
"Introduction to Mathematics (MAST10012), which can be undertaken through the Community Access Program." - so like with unilearn, would i be taking a gap year and working through the methods course myself before going into commerce? how does this work exactley?
- also with Introduction to Mathematics (MAST10012), it says i need 1/2 methods, which i don't have either? so is this an option totally cut off for me?
is there no way to get into arts then take a bridging subject while in there to then be able to major in econ/transfer to bcom??? or can i do uni learn and start b.arts at the same time before having that accredited and then majoring in econ???and then with monash there is:
- unilearn
-???
so yeah, does anyone know any pathways through here???
i guess same questions apply, but i've had my heart set on monash for a lot longer, namely cos i really want to take a double degree in b.com/b.arts, so specifically i was wondering if there was a methods bridging course i could take in b.arts which could then let me expand into a double degree in b.com/b.arts??? and can i do said bridging course without the methods 1/2???please please please help, i'm super terrified and i don't know where exactley to look for the right information on anything/ how i would fill out course preferences due to what's happened?? thank-you very very very much.
