Night time  8)

Though to be fair, time is time. And if I need to use it early on in the day, I will use it.

Whenever I have energy

Usually that's during the day, but sometimes I'll get an idea in the middle of the night and can't stop until I've finished what I was doing

Whenever there's no daylight, so basically between dusk and dawn. Too bad this is not exactly possible/ideal.

Daytime studying is just meh.

i feel like you get more done at night in less time. even though thats counter logical because you should be lethargic at night, but it just seems like writing a paragraph for an essay can take from 2-3pm but at night it will only take 11-11:30pm.
and during the day people text you and fb you and want to hang out but at night most people are asleep or studying so there are less distractions.
but if ive got a sick location to study at during the day i could very well just sit there for 5 hours and just study whereas its harder to find that continuity at night without questioning every 45 minutes "should i go to sleep now? should i just all nighter? is it unwise to eat now?" but these questions go to the back of your mind if youre on a tight schedule

tl;dr assignments/homework tasks at night, study during the day

I have no preference, but I would prefer to get things done asap, although I find it very difficult to study at places outside of home (namely, school).

I tend to study later at night (> 9pm)... It's a habit i've had for quite a while now from when I started uni. I prefer the quiet late at night.

Whenever i find my mojo.

I think for a lot of people its so set by their sleep schedule as well and where they study.

During highschool no doubt it was the afternoon (i was always so dead tired) to early (?) evening, 4pm - 9pm. It just felt right, everything was winding down and being quiet for the day.

Now at uni, it's all over the fucking place. What people not in uni might not understand is the work usually comes in waves, there's no constant assessment (for the most part) and there's often no real need to stay immediately on-top of things or be with your class. Right now for instance i'm like 4 weeks behind.

Sometimes its almost no study, sometimes its an insane amount. Lately though for me its been late night to early morning, often i've been up til like 9-10am no sleep knocking off an assignment but that's what uni does to you.

Never.

Nah, mornings are best, get up early and you get in a couple of hours before anyone's even awake :)).  Even quieter than night.  Worst time for me? ~5:00-6:00pm, then I get my second wind after dinner and family stuff, till ~10pm.

Usually night. I get home after school at about 3:45pm, then I have a break for like an hour, and then study until around 10:00pm (usually broken up with little breaks here and there).

I try to get up around 6am for a study sesh, but I can't get myself out of bed. I have an alarm for 6am every morning, but most days I just sleep in.

Do you guys study whilst listening to music?

Usually have the radio (ABC 774) on all the time when I'm at home unless I'm watching a lecture or something. Have previously studied with fox or nova on too, I prefer a little background noise.
