Hi guys and girls,

for methods exams 2's i was just wondering how do you go about approaching  the exam in terms of reading time and approaching the exam in general?

How do you manage your time to ensure you finish ?

Also how fast are you guys managing to finish your exam 2's under timed conditions?
What are some tips you guys have to become better at exam 2's

Thanks  :)

I'm finishing most exams about 5 minutes either side of the allotted time. Kilbaha's generally take longer though

Plan for the exam will be to spend up to half an hour on multi-choice, then move on to ext. response questions. Go back to multi-choice at the end if necessary

I would second not spending more than half an hour on multiple choice. If you have too just leave it but at that point you do need to move on.
To improve times I would practice doing just the multiple choice but doing it under 30 mins. Just smashing out those helped. Also using reading time effectively because some extended espouse questions can have a lot of information to process so going over them in reading time means it's quicker when you get to them in the exam.
2014: Methods [50]
2015: English, Specialist, Chemistry, Physics, MUEP

Happy to help with methods just shoot me a PM:)

Try and get some of the MC done in your head as quickly as possible during reading time, or at least figure out a plan on how you'd get the answers. And yeah I agree like the others have said, don't spend more than 30mins on MC. Some people would suggest to do extended response first, because you can always guess MC but it's up to you.
