Thanks for uploading the exam! (I just had a go at it)

That was definitely one of the harder exam 1's. It really felt like VCAA were being stingy with a lot of their mark allocations and as a result it was more time consuming than most Exam 1's I reckon; no real diabolical question though (not that there's usually any on exam 1).

I know right?

I found this year's exam quite on the harder side, but everyone's saying how easy it was...

hopefully tomorrow's exam 2 won't be like this

Hey,

don't be too sad :-[
Tomorrow will be an exam 2, where you can redeem yourself! (80 marks!)
Make sure to keep being positive. It will help you with your confidence and mindset for tomorrow.
And c'mon it's one mark out of 120 (marks from both exams) You'll be fine :)

Guys for the last question I did exactly what was required, like i had the area formula correct, I derived it correctly, and when solving for theta i messed up somewhere and got pi/4 as the x. I then subbed this in the area formula and got an area.

Assuming just a small error like that, out of 3 marks, what would I get?

And for the coordinates of T, i forgot to add 2 to the x-coordinate, this question was so evil... I got the y-coordinate right though. It was 1 mark so any hope?

what do you guys think the A+ cut off will be this year?
It wasnt even hard I just made incredibly stupid mistakes, do you think 34/40 would make it for A+? Honestly?

Assuming just a small error like that, out of 3 marks, what would I get? At least 1, and possibly 2. It depends on what the method mark is for/whether you'll get a consequential mark

And for the coordinates of T, i forgot to add 2 to the x-coordinate, this question was so evil... I got the y-coordinate right though. It was 1 mark so any hope? It's only one mark so I doubt they'll pay it - lots of other people in the state probably forgot as well
