Medicine Pre-Requisites

So, I'm pretty confused about this haha. I'm starting BBiomed in 2016, hoping to go into Medicine. On the Medical Prerequisites website (http://sc.mdhs.unimelb.edu.au/prerequisites), it says I have to do ANAT20006 Principles of Human Structure, BCMB20002 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and PHYS20008 Human Physiology as second year subjects. They seem pretty strict about these being needed. But when I look in the handbook, they either say not available for Biomedicine students, or they themselves have pre-reqs that are unavailable for Biomed students.

Am I completely missing something? Sorry if this has been addressed before.

You will definitely have the subject pre-reqs to go into the MD if you complete a Bachelor of Biomedicine. A lot of the subjects just have different names as they're exclusive to the biomed cohort.
2016–2018: Bachelor of Biomedicine (Neuroscience), The University of Melbourne
2019–2022: Doctor of Medicine, The University of Melbourne

Those are the subjects for Science students. Their equivalents are automatically embedded in the Biomedicine degree.
