Hmmm... do you think my response would be accepted then :/ I saw it on the Heinemann textbook so I thought ... yes
Yep - it is definitely a disadvantage, and if the textbook said it there's no doubt you'll get the marks

Nearly did it wrong myself too because I didn't notice it said to find the n(HCl) reacted in the titration flask (20mL aliquot). So the initial amount of HCl had to be multiplied by 20/250, then you could subtract the amount of n(Hal) reacted. In the end the concentration I calculated was a little lower than the one that was in the information.
Hopefully I got that right...

Yeah, I just saw that question - terribly worded LOL. What I ended up doing was what you did, by the way.

So I just did the exam. And I think you guys are overestimating how 'easy' it was.
- A bunch of people will have gotten the back titration question wrong
- I reckon most people won't have figured out the structure of the ester molecule
- People will have gotten wrong the question regarding solutions A and B and whether you could use the calibration graph
- Using collision theory to describe how an equilibrium system responds to a volume change is not exactly easy
- I reckon many people will not have drawn the triglyceride molecule correctly
- People will definitely miss some of the errors in the last question.

Concur.

An A+ of about 100-102/120.

Soo I did most of it in pencil, how much of an issue is it going to be?   :-\

Me too. I don't think it matters at all.

Would A+ SACs and a 102/120 be a 40? What about a 105/120?

If A+ cutoff is around 100-102 then yeah you'd probably get a 40

So I think I got about 109/120. I feel awful. There's probably no chance of a 45+ now :/ *cries*
