AC Approach/Template and Filtering in Examples

Does anyone have a good AC guide or approach that I can refer to to compare my current structure with? I know what an AC entails, yet still feel there are some iffy areas in terms of a solid structure.

Secondly with examples, I have a bunch of these..However not exactly sure what's the best way to filter these in. I've heard you need to mention them early and give multiple per paragraph, and thus I was wondering how does one effectively incorporate them? Do you explain theory and lead in by "..This is seen by *exmaple*" or immediately kick it off with an example.

Any useful tips for AC/Essays would be great! :)
The GOAL: Attain a RAW study score of 40+ in all my subjects.

Courses I would like to study in order of preference include: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Biomedicine or Bachelor of Science.

2014: Biology [42]
2015: English Language [??] | Chemistry [??] | Physics [??] | Mathematical Methods (CAS) [??] | Specialist Mathematics [??]

I use TIGER
T- topic sentence
I- identify a feature
G- give an example
E- explain the function
R- repeat topic sentence (well not exactly repeat but you get what I mean)

And for more than one example you can just repeat the GE, so TIGEGEGER  😊

Hey there!

First of all, best of luck today!

The structure is not really the biggest concern - in fact in Eng Lang there is no set prescribed structure. As long as you mention pertinent features to link back to the social purpose, register, context, audience etc. then you'll be good to go. However, within each body paragraph, I would recommend you follow this structure:

Topic Sentence x1
Point, Example, Elaboration (rinse and repeat until end of paragraph)

For example, see the attached comparative commentary I created. For text two (South Korea), you'll notice that paragraphing is used. A simplistic response would be.. "The use of paragraphing allows the author break up the key ideas so that the audience can easily interpret this information online". Yes, but that's the case for any paragraph in the world. A more detailed response would be "The use of paragraphing allows the author to highlight the diversity of experiences one can have in South Korea, thereby appealing to a various needs and wants of different audience members. This therefore achieves the persuasive purpose as the author can capture a wider target audience".

Make sense? I hope this helps!
