Will accepting early offer withdraw my current place at uni?

Hi. I have already been enrolled in a course at Deakin University since mid year. I wanted to explore my options and received an early round offer for a different course. However, this course was not my top preference and I would like to see what I am offered in the upcoming rounds.

So you may be thinking – why not just accept the early offer and use that as a backup for if you don't receive an offer for a higher preference? Well, my question is this – will accepting my early offer (from a different institution by the way) automatically withdraw me from my current course? Because I would love to keep both as a backup and choose between them only if I don't have any luck in the upcoming VTAC rounds.
