Then I think putting Arts as your second preference would be good then. I haven't completed Economics in Uni so I can't give advice to you for those subjects. However, I did do psychology as an elective in first semester. The end of semester exam is basically a multiple choice exam. It is very easy to do well in this subject and score a H1 (I did 2 days of last minute revision and got a pretty good score). My advice for this subject is to put a lot of time into the assignment given. The assignment marks is generally what hinders students from scoring a H1. If all goes well, you should be able to transfer mid-year. Good luck! :)

That's good to hear, then. I guess it's important to ask yourself whether or not you'd be prepared to continue on with Arts if you found out it wasn't immediately possible to transfer. If it is, then I'd agree with putting it as your next preference, keeping in mind that you should definitely not move Commerce down. Had you given thought to doing Arts before?

Best wishes.

Yes I definitely had given Arts a thought before. Even before Year 12, I considered Arts as a backup option if Commerce wasn't attianable. However, I think my end goal would be to do JD. This is possible after both Commerce and Arts but I prefer to do Commerce because if I decide not to do the JD, I would rather have a Commerce degree than an Arts degree as I would prefer jobs in areas such as Accountancy, Finance, Eco etc.

That's good then haha, if you did Psych in VCE you would be very used to multiple choice questions. I really do like Psychology and would definitely have it as an elective if I do end up doing Arts. Thank you for the tips.
