General conversation advice needed

I've been doing my general conversation and I am struggling to make different points for the questions 你将来想做什么?and 你毕业以后有什么打算?How do you guys suggest that I make different responses to these questions. Also, I am wondering how you guys dealt with the oral exam. Did you guys try to smile and act cheerful in your exam or did you talk like it was a normal conversation? Thanks in advanced.  :)

I doubt they'll end up both of the questions but it would ultimately depends on your answers for each, they're pretty much the same question that can be asked in different ways. I'd prepare for both as well...just in case.

Hopefully someone more proficient in Chinese than me answers your question as well...since I'm already leaving my Chinese SS with the heavens(jokingly). But yeah, it's going to be rough for me next year.

The first one is fairly ambiguously worded, but I think the difference between the two questions is that one asks about your (ideal) future career/pathways, and the other about your short-term plans after graduating from high school.

“你将来想做什么?” —— what (job) you want to do in the future, why, how it relates to your abilities/interests, how you plan to achieve your goals etc.
“你毕业以后有什么打算?” —— gap year, travel plans, work, tertiary study etc.

The oral exam isn't *that* much different from a normal conversation, but I believe that by being more bright and cheerful you present yourself as more likeable to the examiners. Just my two cents but hope this helps! :)

You can have similar points for both but make sure you use different language. I suggest that 你将来想做什么?can be more like a job or something while 你毕业以后有什么打算?can focus more on what you want to do that is not job related eg. gap year??
And yes definitely try to keep it like a normal conversation and smile but make sure your responses are in good length
