Job prospect of becoming a pharmacist

Hi everyone on AN,

Recently, I've been eyeing the bachelor of Pharmacy at Monash University as something I may like to do next year after finishing VCE. While I've noticed a lot of threads on engineering and medicine courses, I would personally like to know more about the pharmacy course offered at Monash. Is anybody here studying bachelor of pharmacy right now or have studied it before? What is it like?  :P

edit: Important question!!! Do I need to do the UMAT in order to gain entry to the course?

Thanks.

No UMAT needed, and the job prospects are getting worse every year (not unlike every other degree). Anecdotally, most people tend to find a job somewhere, and the course itself is pretty good.
