Hi Students,

I have just been informed that the B117 Basement Lecture theatre has been declared unsafe and will be unavaible for lectures tomorrow. (Friday 18th March)

I will keep you informed about what we will put in place to cover the lecture content.

Dawn

Is this legit, I got it in my school email?

Two rumours are being spread, there is a beeping noise that is can not be located, raises caution for explosives etc. The other one is that a part of the roof collapsed. Not entirely sure though..

um actually kinda scared now

Further Info
Dear Students,

The lights in the ceiling the in MSD B117 lecture theatre  where we have our lectures, are unsafe and the theatre has been closed. As a consequence the lectures are cancelled tomorrow (Friday 18th March). There are no other theatres available large enough for us.

We will be putting up a recording of the lecture on the LMS which you will be able to watch and notes are available as usual.

We hope the issue is fixed asap and I will keep you informed. Make sure you check the LMS and your email.

Regards, Dawn

The only thing that bothers me in this event is the fact that there are lectures and in general melb uni staff still working at 10 and 11 pm.
I thought english teachers in yr 12 had it tough marking like 100 essays.
