Wow....... REALITY CHECK/10
For my first sac of the year in Jap it was writing. My strongest aspect is writing in jap. And all i can say is study study study on all plain past forms etc... I flunked my first sac massively. Coming off a very good year last year with high results to an E, yes an E on my first writing sac for the year, i am deeply worried that i wont even reach a 20 study score. If anyone out there has done unit 3/4 jap last year or in past years, tell me what this E will do to my study score. And also if you can share your sac results and final study score.

This year for jap will only get harder and harder!!!!!!

Hey,

I wouldn't be so stuck up on just one SAC result. The SAC result only affects your ranking in the class. If you perform better than your class ranking on the final exam then your SAC marks will be dragged up to match your exam results. So in the end your E on the first SAC wouldn't really affect your study score that much provided you work hard from now on.
Hopefully you have since been spending more time practicing your Japanese since your disappointing result. Japanese is different to other subjects as it cannot be crammed and requires routine study to improve gradually.
Good luck!
