Bachelor of Biomedicine UoM and GAMSAT Queries

Hey I just had some queries on Bachelor of Biomedicine and how it works with Doctor of Medicine.
I was looking at the guaranteed entries on the website and found that applicants who achieved an ATAR of 99+ do not need to complete the GAMSAT. So I was wondering, considering that a lot of the Biomedicine students obtain an ATAR of 99+, why do so many students worry about it?

Is it quite competitive to apply for the guaranteed position?
or is 75% weight average mark quite hard to obtain?
Thank you

The 99.00+ guaranteed entry is only for a full-fee placement (FFP), not a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), so unless you're willing to spend 250k+, you need to do the GAMSAT for a CSP.

It depends but if you work hard you should find getting above 75% achievable

I also confused the guaranteed UoM place as CSP, instead of FFP. I was quite excited for a week until someone broke the news to me.  :'(
