Can I report a SAC marking to the VCAA?

I feel that my school gave me a very unreasonable mark for an English SAC, compared to the marks my teacher gave me for practice essays. My school claims to have moderated SAC marks, but I don't think this has been done very accurately.

Is there some way to report this to the VCAA, or am I stuck with a mediocre mark?

You should really sort it out with your school - since SACs are internal. The only responsibilities VCAA have in this case, involves collecting the mark/rank reported by the teacher, and randomly selecting schools for SAC audits. You'd need to check if there is a policy in place at your school for re-marking of work.

If anything, I think you should appreciate the moderation/cross-marking process because it gives you a far better idea of where you are in comparison to your peers.
