Hi guys,
Could I have some help tackling this prompt:
We know our identity when we are happy with ourselves, not how people view us.
Any ideas?
Probably too late for your SAC, but if you're ever stuck with a prompt, ask yourself
what you need help with.
I.e. do you know what it's suggesting? Do you understand its components and the overall message it's trying to convey? Could you put this into your own words? If you're fine with this, then start thinking about ways to question the prompt (e.g. 'if this is true, then what?' or 'what does it mean to be
happy with ourselves?') Then see if you have enough of a foundation to form a contention.
Then you can start thinking about which ideas and/or evidence you intend to explore.
Basically, where on that chain of:
- Understanding the prompt
- Being able to unpack the prompt
- Coming up with a contention
- Supporting this contention with examples...are you having trouble?
Once you know that, it's usually way easier to find a strategy to get you through
