Hi! My name is Stephen and I completed VCE in 2015, achieving an ATAR of 99.95.
I am offering private tuition for Units 3/4 and 1/2 of Chemistry [50], Mathematical Methods [48] and Specialist Mathematics [47]
About meI graduated VCE in 2015, achieving an ATAR of 99.95 as a home-educated student studying through DECV.
I achieved study scores of 50 in Chemistry, 48 in Mathematical Methods and Physics, 47 in Specialist Mathematics, and 46 in English Language. In addition, I completed UMEP Mathematics as a 6th subject, in which I achieved a mark of 94.
I was also awarded a Premier's VCE Award in 2016 (Top All-Round VCE High Achiever).
Currently, I am studying the Bachelor of Science (Chancellor's Scholars Program) at the University of Melbourne, intending to major in both chemistry and mathematics.
TuitionAlthough I have achieved very high scores in other subjects during my VCE, I have chosen to focus on Chemistry, Methods and Specialist to further develop my abilities.
I intend to deliver high quality tuition services for VCE students through sessions which not only cater to their needs and abilities, but also promote a love of learning and an interest in the subject which extends beyond simply getting a good mark. My lessons will be well planned, yet flexible enough to cater to individual needs as well as homework and classwork. Lessons will attain clear learning objectives by first covering relevant theory before putting it to practice through working through questions.
Although I am not offering tuition for VCE Physics or English Language, I am more than happy to provide advice and help for those subjects during sessions.
Both of my two current students have been achieving very high SAC marks, and are performing at the top of their school cohorts.
LocationPlaces are *very* limited (likely 2-3 places!)
I will be available to tutor at the State Library.
