What book to choose?

For part a- the essay my school chose to do Mabo or Stasiland and i am indecisive of what book to choose. I much prefer Stasiland and prefer the overall story but find it to be a much more complex book to analyse which i think makes for a better essay if confident but i somewhat get confused between characters and struggle to remember most quotes and depending on the topic sentence can struggle to write a good piece. Whereas Mabo is much more simplistic with the key ideas and themes evident but i feel it would make for a much more bland and boring as well as generic piece. What would your advice be as to what piece to focus on over the next 2 days?

Which one do you feel like you know best right now? If I told you to sit the exam RIGHT NOW (which I wouldn't, cause I'm not that mean, but hypothetically...) which one would you feel more confident writing about? <-- let that be the deciding factor rather than how 'complex' the texts are or how 'bland' your piece might be, because your confidence in what you're writing is way more important!

Scores might not be the best indicator, but that might factor into your decision. I'd also recommend looking through lists of prompts and practice exams to think about what you gravitate towards. But making a decision sometime soon would be ideal as you don't want to spend tomorrow revising two whole texts only to end up wasting half your efforts :P
