Marks and Effort for a 30 in Chem

Hi everyone!
So next year, I see a raw 30 in Chem to satisfy as prerequisite (have a guess what it is)
I come from a country school, so chem isnt a very strong or popular subject
So I was wondering, what sort of marks would I need to achieve a 30 study score, and how much effort do I need to put in?
I understand this is very subjective but personal experiences would be great

a friend of mine averaged 60% in yr 11 chem, tried quite a bit harder and wound up with the like 35ish? altho , he did stuff his exam, so probs couldve gotten higher; youll need to put a lot of effort if it does not come to you naturally :)

I suspect that's where the answer is to be honest. It really, really does depend on the individual.

Personally, chem was something that I found challenging during high school and it probably required more work than my other subjects (Bio, EngLang, Methods, French and Psych). To get a 30 is certainly not a huge ask; however, if you are someone who finds chem difficult and are concerned about getting a 30, then you'll need to put the effort in to get there. In chem it probably isn't easy to slack off and do well, because all of the concepts tend to build on each other.
