I hope it went well!  Any questions that particularly stumped anyone?

I'm *hoping* to get a copy of the exam so I can throw together some sample answers and comments... *fingers crossed*

I feel like the questions were relatively easy and familiar, I just didn't have the time to perfectly analyse both the question and my response, hence I'm unsure of how I really went.

Also, what WHO priority area did you guys put for... that question? The one about tobacco.

I was completely stumped too, and put the one relating to social, economic and environmental determinants, for no particular reason other than I knew it wasn't the first three.
I'm quite confident in hola's response that it was non-communicable disease though, since tobacco = cancer, thus addressing non-communicable diseases.

It's frustrating that I didn't realise that, but hey, just one mark. :P

International health regulations is about preventing communicable disease outbreaks. You could of sort of argue for this as tabacco smoking leads to a compromised immune system, but non-communicable diseases is the more obvious one.

Question of my own, do we get still get marks if we were a bit vague/wrote in broken English? I said that the pyramid promotes fruit and vegetables consumption, which are high in fibre, hence creating a feeling of fullness, and contains sufficient energy. Thus, reflecting ADG 1 in meeting energy needs. Do I still get the mark :(? I also mentioned how the Pyrmaid promotes physical activity, just like the guideline.

Unfortunately the invigilators got in the way of our attempt to grab a copy of the exam haha, so I'm sorry that I can't suggest answers unless someone manages to locate a copy :)

I can't see the exact question but I'd reckon non-communicable diseases (e.g. lung cancer) is most likely to be the right answer :/  IHR is more about coordinating the world's response to a public health emergency (e.g. ebola spreading rapidly).

But yeah - frustrating as it definitely is, one mark is just one mark...

Yeah, that sounds fine :)

It was frustrating !
For the tobacco question, I think I put down social, economic and environmental determinants as the answer and I ran out of time when I was halfway through the 6 mark inter relationships question and the question relating to the Ottawa charter, I did not have time to write down how one of them was reflected in the case study, in total 3-4 marks  :(

It was longer than I expected! Still, quite proud of myself for finishing it all :) Felt it was reasonably easy, lots of short questions and short case studies. What did everyone say for the SDG in the tobacco question? And then for the global health question that related to the SDG?

I found it standard, but I rushed the last page (4 marks) so probably only got one mark out of four there. I'm thinking I got between 90-95.
My SACS in unit 3 were 91 on average and in Unit 4 were 97.
Hoping for a 45+
