Does Physics 1/2 Prepare you For Specialist 3/4?

Does Physics 1/2 Prepare you For Specialist 3/4? Would it be wise to do Physics 1/2 in Year 11 but not in Year 12 instead of International Studies 1/2 to prep you up for specialist?

Physics 1/2 motion component certainly does help with spec 3/4. Especially for dynamics and kinematics. Besides that, nothing else really helps.

It helps but by the sounds of things you want to take Physics 1/2 just for the spesh help and not continue on (please correct me if I'm wrong). Do Physics for Physics, not for Spesh. Most of Physics 1/2 is unrelated completely to Spesh and the bits that are related I'm sure you can get someone to explain them or read it yourself. Bottom line is don't pick subjects just to set you up for other subjects if you don't like Physics. If you like Physics and I'm just misunderstanding things then go ahead it's all good.
