thanku for ur reply. do u know if there are any stores in melbourne we can visit to look through the notes before buying?
The online store of ATARNotes gives you a preview of the first few pages as well, if that's of any help~
http://atarnotes.com/product/vce-psychology-notes/Also, if my two cents is of any worth, I've bought Physics notes from here (I'm from NSW doing HSC) and they're really nice: cover all the content, and explain things really well
(Saved me many times for exams - thanks Jamon
). I've also bought Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1 notes form ATARNotes which were very useful if I didn't understand a topic/ process/ method or sometimes to confirm my knowledge of a topic (although honestly, I didn't use the Maths ones as much as Physics because I found that for me this was more of a practical subject - i.e I did lots of practice papers rather than worrying too much about notes. But this is just a personal thing; I know a few people studied a lot using notes for maths). But basically, I'd assume the quality is consistent across all the notes ATARNotes provide.
e.g. does it word info better than the grivas textbook
Also, (maybe i'm interpreting the tone wrong), but even if your notes are better than the textbook, notes should only be used as a supplement to your knowledge i.e revision on points you find hard to understand or have forgotten/ from a long time ago. So make sure you're not using notes as a replacement for a textbook, unless whatever you're doing/ learning in class is substantial enough to support the knowledge you would have learnt from a textbook.
