Is Biomedicine very competitive?

Hi, I'm new here and recently finished year 12. I received an offer from UoM for Biomed in the major round but don't know whether I should go and do it since my ATAR isn't that great compared to others who got early offers. So now, I'm still deciding if I should go or just stick with other offers I've received. Please feel free to comment your suggestions/advises here, thanks!
