I failed my SAC! What does this mean for my study score...??

So I had my first 'test sac' this week on AOS 1. I thought I was doing alright it in class, and my formula sheet was decent, at least that was what I thought. When I went in to do it though, I struggled so much. There was not a single question I was like 100% sure about that I could say "oh yeah, I know how to do this!". I knew I did horrible, but at least pass.

I got my result back and it was 30%.  :'( What does this mean for my study score? I was aiming for a study score of above 30. Is it still achievable? I'm freaking out and have no idea what to do and it has brought me down so much and I just broke down at school at recess after I found out, I'm actually so upset and have no idea how to tell my parents; they'll be so disappointed. Can I still achieve over a 30 in physics anymore?

Thanks for reading, I'd appreciate it if someone would reply!

It means it can only go up from here.

Anyway, with a good cheat sheet 30+ should be an ease. Don't worry.

There are several SACs over the course of the year as well as the end of year exam, so you can come back from this if you work hard :)
Have you been doing practice questions? These often are important, even more so than the formula sheet.
Consider getting a tutor if you're having difficulty with the content, or you can always post here :)
I had a difficult exam (worth something like 44% of the subject) for methods and I was distraught, but I used it as motivation to keep going as there was no point giving up, even if I felt all the hard work over the course of the year had become meaningless. :P
Don't stress over it, everyone has at least one bad SAC and you can always improve your mark. Good luck!

Thank you guys so much for responding. I feel a bit better about it all now. And yeah, you're right, I'll use it as motivation. Thanks again  :)

One sac won't ruin anything. Use it as motivation

TBH, you could still get over 40.
One sac doesnt make much of a difference, especially if its an outlier. I think VCAA may recognise that its not a true reflection of your capabilities, for example they may attribute it to you having an off day, or you may have been sick etc.

I did terrible on one of my further sacs (finance lol) but it didnt effect my score much.
