29th July, 2017:

Completed (over the past few days):
- Read 'Broken Teeth' for my Lit class.
- Reviewed lecture notes for History, Philosophy, and Ancient Cultures
- Ancient Cultures readings
- Finished next week's Philosophy readings and typed up some notes
- Finished next week's History readings
- Still researching UK universities at the moment and which one I might want to attend :P

Currently:
- Still waiting for Wednesday's lecture slides to be posted. >:(

To do:
- Quiz, which I will complete tomorrow because I'm kind of tired and worried I might mess it up if I do it now. :P

Coffee, your organisation is simply amazing. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: #goals <3
You seem to be enjoying the units that you're taking so far - do you think you'll like them more than the ones you did last semester? (Probably best to steer clear of mentioning Linguistics, though, to avoid breaking Joseph41's heart)

Tomorrow's gonna be the big day for doing uni stuff - catching up on notes, trying to complete some quizzes and stuff that are due early in the week, prep for prac and anatomy - but let's see how much of that I actually do :P

Kinda unlucky because I've come down with a virus so am feeling really run down and yuck. Really not conducive to studying :-\

I am enjoying my units! I'm definitely enjoying Literature more this semester already. Last semester was very introductory, this semester has already been much more focused and interesting. The unit comprises of three modules this semester: Writing Melbourne, Walking the City, and the Transnational City. Definitely more interesting than your introductory stuff and I love that I can draw on some of my other interests, like history, and geography.

My other units are History, Philosophy, and Ancient Cultures. The former two I took last semester as well and I love them. Definitely some interesting topics coming up! Ancient Cultures is interesting so far, and a little bit different since I'm planning to head into the Modern European stream.

Kate, we don't speak of Linguistics *shiver*.

Kinda unlucky because I've come down with a virus so am feeling really run down and yuck. Really not conducive to studying :-\
I hope you feel better soon. Studying while sick sucks. :( Look after yourself. <3

- Makes a point of not doing uni work all day by making a scarf of sorts
- Opened a set of notes that I'll be seeing tomorrow and I see maths equations. I quickly close those notes :P

First full week of uni starts this week!!!!
And I'm feeling really positive about all of my subjects.
Communicating Nations, Data Journalism, and Sexing Power. I think this is a really good mix, except they all involve big projects at the end so RIP me in October
Not sure how to navigate around ATAR Notes? Check out this video!

First full week of uni and today is 9-5:15 :(
I haven't started my prac preparation for tomorrow but hoping it'll be better than last semester's pracs. Looks like it's content we haven't covered yet (again)
Going to start on my first assignment due next week, want to get ahead! I'll need to keep track of all my subject's weekly assignments, pre-tute work, pre-prac/workshop work, homework and content.
Want to keep on top of things this semester :) Glad I have a day off on Thursdays

This week is the last of the chill weeks- I was at uni for 3 hours today (including a gap for lunch hahah). I plan to take notes for the next week and a bit's worth of lectures, and then complete my tute questions for one of my units by tomorrow's end. I've finalised the info I'm using for my part of the group presentation, I just need to write it up as a speech and put some info onto a slide, then I get the whole of next week to practice (hopefully!).

I'm so thankful for honest people today, I bought expensive some textbooks today and lost them somewhere at uni but they ended up at the student union desk so thank god for that person!!!!

I know :') I'm so relieved, I was actually running around uni for a while checking the places I went feeling so devastated about having to buy them again

Whilst I still don't necessarily like uni, I feel like the pain of overloading last semester has immunised me from a lot of struggle this time round...

I'm thinking about how I can be more social at uni since the past year and a half has been a roller coaster in my personal life but I'm ready to make the most of my time here before it's over??

I know people say "join clubs" but I won't know anyone and idk how to be confident enough to participate in events etc??

Just start talking to people at your lectures, tutes and pracs (if you have them)! That's what I've been doing :P It can be a bit slow, but once you start talking to people enough, you can make some really good friendships :)
