JMSS Entry For 2018

Yeah, I signed up for this quite a while ago, but the tour list was full T-T.
So, I didn't receive a tour and it's pretty much too late ahah

Yeah I don't think they'll let you. You miiight be able to go ask at the office if you come before class starts, but they can't let you just hang around during class lol.

guys i got the details for the exam!! thank god i was getting worried - i thought I forgot to confirm or something.
does anyone have any idea how many people will be there??? i've heard over 1000 (aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh) but I've also heard 900, so anybody confirm??
for the maths, do you think it will just be year 8 and 9 stuff? will i need to know any yr 10??

Hope so! My friend said it was mostly the stuff you learnt in school, and she doesn't do anything advanced so yeah probably? I suppose it wouldn't hurt to know some year10 stuff?

I'm sure you'll be fine! I only barely remember some of the year8 and year9 science ahahaha (yeah I really didn't study hard enough)
For the year 9s it's school based, so it'll be based on how many are going from your school c:

nope. i was wondering about that as well, bc at the selective last year we got id numbers and stuff. kinda weird...

Are they talking about the year10s who tried out for year11? If so then that might make more sense.

No, I'm pretty sure they were talking about Year 9s trying out for Year 10.
But hey, if there's 600, that's a little more reassuring.

I highly doubt you will need to. Cubic curves and long division of polynomials aren't in the Year 9 curriculum, so there is no urgency to learn them.
I mean, from what I've seen from other people, the test should be relatively easy since they only test you on school stuff.

great does that mean i don't have to learn circle theorems and cyclic quadrilaterals and all that stuff?
