Practical Investigation help!!

Hi guys  :)
My teacher has decided to make us do the practical investigation now and I am currently writing everything up. However, I'm unclear on how I should go about in writing the method. I've read some articles online saying not to write the method like a recipe, but rather using a passive voice ?? :-\ BTW, VCAA has written under methodology in the study design,  "Summary that outlines the methodology used in the investigation". PLS help a stressed student out  :)
second thoughts: should i write it in a big paragraph, outlining what i did ??

I doubt your method will be worth a lot of marks for the practical investigation, since the focus is on your discussion and interpretation of results. Nevertheless, it's still something you have to do, so I'd just recommend doing what VCAA says and giving a brief outline of your methodology. Personally I like to use dot points to go through each step, but I think it's best to ask your teacher how you should structure your method as they are going to be marking it.

Thank you for replying! I've just finished writing the method so I hope its good enough. I would ask my teacher but it's due on Monday and she isn't very tech savy so I can't email her :) Thank you though  :D ;D
