I never said really said it was usless or anything just thats not accepted in unis

I think I know what you're saying, but saying that Further is not accepted at uni is a little misleading. I mean, I randomly selected a uni course - Bachelor of Education (Honours) at Monash was the first one I thought of for some reason. And Further Maths is entirely fine to fulfil the maths pre-req requirements.

I think most people would agree that further having double the amount of enrolments in comparison to methods is definitely not because it's more applicable to everyday life..

Yeah, from expirence its mainly people who either dont like maths but think its useful for something at least, or cause its much easier than methods so they choose further just to have a maths subject thats not hard

With all due respect, Further is not "easier" and saying that is really an insult to those who choose to do Further. You need to understand that different maths subjects cater to different people and their circumstances/aspirations. Those who view Further as 'easy' probably have done (or are doing) one of Methods or Specialist Maths. Clearly they are going to view Further as an easier alternative, because Further is not directed at them.

Further is easier compared to Methods and Spec.....
And i am doing further and methods. I mean its a business subject as the things u learn in further is more business based, in the sense that its stuff like financial maths, statstics etc
Doing an easier subject doesnt make it an inferior subject.

why do you say it's not easier?

I was in yr 11 completing 1/2 methods and spec and was able to help my yr 12 brother with further (he scored in the 40's) (2015 so old study design) mostly through mathematical common sense and/or revision of yr 7 -9 concepts although you need to read the exam questions carefully. Haven't really kept up with the changes :P so might not be able to do so for the current one. Although IIRC it's just a rearrangement of topics.

Honestly most further students (even those who aren't particularly strong at maths) say it's easy.

Mainly students choose further because they feel methods is too hard but they still want to do some maths, usually not for the real world applications. (because if methods was accessible they would do that instead LOL) So they aren't really doing it for the applications.
