Okay so i have just spent the last two hours studying on and off, and i come on here for a break and this what i see.
My brain is not working cause im looking at that with no clue what it means and its blowing my mind
In summary, What the hell do you mean???
P.s the amount of emojis highlights my sheer confusion at this statement
Oh dear. I've broken someone. Again. Twice in one day. Must be a record I'm not too proud of.
It's supposed to be a spin on the whole
"Person 1: Expect the unexpected
Person 2: But if you expect the unexpected, isn't the unexpected expected...?" thing, which you can see the whole thing
here. It's just a riddle, really.
If you've never encountered that one, perhaps you've seen this one from literature: "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" (More on that
here.)
Basically what I'm saying is:
Pretend you're sick and went to see the doctor. If you're at the reception (i.e. waiting room) of the doctor's practice, but everyone sees the doctor as soon as they sat down, is the reception (i.e. waiting room) still called a 'waiting room' despite there being no literal waiting happening in it?
