Reason why I can’t sleep #4756:

Have you ever wondered why spiders eat winged things, but aren’t winged themselves? Like, wouldn’t just flying around be hella easier than laboriously spinning silk out of your butt?

Stupid spiders should learn how to freaking evolve for once.
Or not, because imagine flying spiders.

I imagine flying would be very energy intensive,  and there are a bunch of other insects filling that niche - so the spiders would have increased competition and therefore decreased access to resources.

Just my thoughts (not scientifically validated)

I seem to live on a diet of noodles during uni semester :')

At uni? Eat cup noodles
At home and want lunch? Eat Mi Goreng noodles
Eating out for lunch/dinner? Fancy noodles 😂

Safe to say that I get oodles of noodles 😅😂

Some people really amaze me with their multi talented skills!

This girl (or shall we say young lady), has won composing awards, jazz awards, classical playing awards. I'd say she's going to be a female Mozart or Beethoven =). PS (she was the youngest person to debut at the Ravinia Festival (AT THE AGE OF 5) !

I had no idea what handing in a major work would feel like. I feel satisfiedly empty.

Kind of like a mother sending their child off to school for the first day. All the work done in the year before, and having no idea if it will be accepted or rejected.

I found posting SACs to be incredibly strange - one minute my cuttings journal is in my hand, the next it's on its way to be marked.

You're suggesting that instead of burying dead people we bury dead people? 

Interesting idea, I wonder if humans will still be around by then.

Personally,  I like the idea of tree urns/pods (after my organs and whatever have been used for medical or scientific purposes)

That's interesting.
The postgrads at uni were having their beer club (such a thing exists apparently!) running this afternoon, and they weren't aware of it either :')
