The message on trams leaving the free tram zone seems rather...threatening.

It starts off nicely ‘You are now leaving the free tram zone. Touch on your myki now’ but then it changes pitch or something and sounds really sinister when it say ‘to ensure you have a valid ticket.’ It creeps me out a bit

They also recently rerecorded/redid the automated annoucement for the stop name for stop #11 on the route 19 to "The University of Melbourne" instead of "Melbourne University" and it doesn't sound like all the others, and it just feels wrong.

Personally I call it "that other uni in Parkville" but that's just me being me because I go to Monash (the Parkville campus nobody knows of every time I get asked which Monash campus I go to)

Sure, that's what it says on my degree, but I'm still not sure I know anyone who calls it that...
EDIT: Looking at the UoM discussion thread, I guess we also called it unimelb. But not the full formal name.
