Specialist Sacs!

Hey past VCE survivors! It would be great if you could post about how your sac scores contributed to your study score? Some teachers are like "sacs mean nothing" while others are like "sacs are be all end all!" and I'm so confused and it's creating much unnecessary stress! It would be great to hear from you!

I'm not a past VCE survivor, since I'm doing VCE right now. The study design says that SACs are worth 34% of your study score. Obviously this is still a large chunk of your study score, but the two exams altogether make up about double this amount of your study score. My interpretation is that SACs are definitely not the be all and end all, but they are still very important. I'd say that SACs do not mean nothing for specialist maths and they aren't the be all and end all. I feel like they are somewhere in between, since the exam plays the biggest role in deciding your study score (for specialist), but the SACs still contribute a large chunk (34%).
