Hello,

Today my math teacher totally demotivated me!!
He told me that with an A on my SAC"S I would never be able to get an SS of 40+??
What the hell man???? I am ranked 4, and for my past 2 Sac's I both got 88 on them???
I reckon it's totally possible to sill get a 45 at least??

What do you think?

Mod Edit: Split from VCE Further Q&A into own thread

In a subject with less competition, sure. Further is extremely competitive - so the loss of a few marks in the exam can be the difference between a 45 and 50 (for example). The most important thing is that you do well in the rest of your SACs, plus on both the Further exams, to put yourself in the best possible position.

Don't take what I have said the wrong way - you can still achieve a 40+, however the A for SACs does not guarantee this. The exams are crucial

]Oh sorry, It's further maths I do, so considering I got A+ on both exams, will I still be able to pull of a 40+ with and A for GA1?
My teacher is so deflating sometime! I think he does it so we can pull ourselves up! But it really doesn't work!

Going to assume that Ashjames is you, given that you're both on the same IP. Yes, if you got A+'s on both the Further exams, I would definitely say that you could get a 40+. Like I said, exams are so important. Yes, I figured you are doing Further. My initial comment applies to Further.

And yes I do have 2 accounts( one for English and business Management) and one for my other subjects!! Don't ask why I did that, I honestly don't know why I made my life hard for myself!
