I 100% promise that if you dress up as the country Wales I will buy you a soft serve from maccas. I will, in my Lenin costume, walk into an establishment that is, at its very core, one of the most prominent examples of capitalist exploitation in the modern era, and buy you a soft serve.

That's what I like to hear ;) I shall look into this..

if you don't come and say hi (even though I know you don't study history) imma be so mad

Haha! Better stake you out then! X
Hey!
I did the HSC last year (2017) and my 10 units were English Advanced, English Extension 1, English Extension 2, Legal Studies, Maths and Studies of Religion 2. I achieved my ATAR aim of over 90!

I loved tutoring and running essay writing workshops (privately and at InFlow Education) so much that I decided to study a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English and minoring in Maths!

If you're thinking about tutoring, let me know x

Getting to the ATAR notes - HSC lectures Part 2

Part 1  - Getting from Central Station to UTS >> https://atarnotes.com/forum/index.php?topic=171649.msg955352#msg955352

In this post I will explain how to get from buildings to buildings as people often get confused.

Building 5 to Building 4
1. Exit the building and walk to the right!

2. Keep walking straight  until you see the intersection. Take a right.

3. Keep walking and cross the road.

4. Keep walking straight, cross the road and then take a left.

5. Keep walking straight and you'll see a big white building!

6. Keep walking straight and the stairs will be on your right. Go up it

7. Enter the building and there will be doors to the left.  Enter!

.....
.....
Building 5 to Building 6
1. Follow steps 1, 2 and 3 from the start of the page.
2. Cross the road at the earlier traffic light.

3. keep walking straight until you see this building.

...............
............
Building 6 to Building 4.
1. Exit the building, at the exit facing the road.

2. WAlk down until you see the big ramp to the left.  Cross the road when safe to do to get there.

So I am very eager for these lectures, attending the english adv and bio on tuesday and the maths gen on thursday. My question is, are the notes that can be purchased worth it? Are the topics summaised and are the key dot points covered? Also the lectures, what do they entail. Im not naming names but this Tuesday I attended a pretty ordinary hsc lecture (left halfway through- was a full day thing) so fingers crossed Atar Notes have solid engaging lectures, because its a bit of a trek from Penrith 😃

So glad you are keen!! We're excited to meet you

Obviously I am biased, as an author of one of the sets of notes, but they are totally worth it. Super succinct summary of all the core content, by a student for a student. This means it is super concise, with none of the extra crap that you get in a textbook, and super easy to follow and understand. You'll get a chance to check out the Notes and Topic tests yourself before you buy, of course

Bummed to hear you weren't happy with the other lecture! I'm sure ours will be a step up! You'll get content revision, study tips, exam technique stuff - Essentially, we tell our lecturers, "You've got half the day to improve everyone's Trial and HSC results as much as you possibly can." The result is an experience designed by a student who sat where you sat in just the last year or two, so it is well in touch with what you need at this stage in the year

Ps - Cool that you are coming from Penrith! I'm from Richmond myself

I can confirm that the notes are 100% worth it.
I bought the Legal Studies notes last year and they are amazing! (shoutout to Elyse) I barely learned anything in class and started a term late, but I soon excelled because everything I needed to know was in this 100 page book instead of a massive 500 page textbook.
I'm coming to 5 lectures over 3 days, and I come from the Penrith area too ;)

re: Sudodds' revolutionary lecture

Could you do a 360 degree turn after every sentence to represent the revolution? You'll get dizzy, but perhaps you could liken that to the sickening feelings of injustice experienced by the proletariat

If you need encouragement, I can come dressed as my ol' pal, Trotsky

Maybe you should go to the desk and hold up a bunch of books like in your DP.

Good luck at the lectures everyone, lecturers and students alike :)

Just think how expensive it would be to buy that many books :o

Also hope they go as well as they can, given you lot are north of the border. :)
