aside from the fact that sac scores aren't rididuclously important in determining your study score (because the exam will moderate them), it's fairly hard to predict your study scores if we don't know your ranking and cohort strength. but those scores are not 'pretty bad' (100% in psych!) and you can definitely still do well. (: what are you aiming for? if you keep improving on your previous sac scores, you'll end up doing pretty well in exams and that will push your sac scores up so uni three scores don't mean you're screwed haha.

I don't know how you're doing because the thing that is important is your ranking and the strength of your cohort. But, if you feel like you're not doing well then try to find out why and improve. I disagree that exams are the get out of jail free card, which is what another user said, especially because taking that mentality means that you'll probably slack off in SACs and not put enough work in throughout the year. Also, even though SACs are generally weighted a bit less than exams, they are still worth a fair chunk of your study score. I feel like you should try hard and improve if you're not satisfied with your current scores. You have heaps of time and opportunities to improve your grades, so if you feel unsatisfied, then just work to improve.

I don't necessarily think the other person meant it that way. It's more of a fact that a lot can change depending on how you perform on the exam. A very strong exam trumps internal SAC marks (generally). Of course, don't entirely dismiss SACs, just don't feel too down by the results you get on them.

You can totally do it!

As mentioned, it's super hard to give you an indication, but you can always do better. Keeping track of your scores are useful. It gives you something to aim for! Maybe try to aim for a 10% or 15% improvement on your current SAC averages, then aim to do even better again on the exams. You can do it :)
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Yeah sorry I meant like don't feel as though your atar is already down the drain. Exams are very influential.

Sorry I misinterpreted your post. I just didn't want them thinking that SACs didn't play a large part in their study score, which they do espcecially for English where SACs are 50% of their study score.

It's impossible to say how well you are doing as your SS is based off your exam for the most part and SAC scores don't actually matter, just ranking. An ATAR of 70+ is certainly achievable as long as you amp up the intensity before exams and don't let the stress get to you. Just try your best and you won't be disappointed.
