- Does your exam score scale your SAC scores, or is it just used to generate scores for your G.A based off your SAC ranking?
- How is overall ranking calculated given that there's a different one for unit 3 and unit 4? I was somewhere in the 80s/170 for unit 3 and now 1st in unit 4. Where does that put me?

Thanks!

The process happens something like this:
1. They compare your exam with other students to see what score you get for it. This grade becomes your exam mark
2. They look at each school's SAC performance, and drag the highest score (rank 1) to match highest exam mark. They also adjust the rest of the SAC marks so that the top 25% of SAC scores are the same as the top 25% of exam marks for your school. They also do this for 50% and 75%. This happens for each GA that uses SAC marks

Are you referring to subjects like methods where only one GA is based on SAC marks?

The cohort's total exam marks scale/moderate your SAC, your exam mark plays only a part in it.

Your after-moderation SAC then combines 50/50 with your own exam mark to give your SS mark. This is where your exam mark plays a much bigger part.
