So it's a week before my preliminary Extension 1 exam, and my teacher has been considering putting me into his Extension 2 class.
In the first term of this year, I got third in the class for my Extension 1 test at around 80%. The thing is though, last term in my half yearlies I got caught off guard and got below what I expected in the test at around 65-70% as I started getting lazy and I wasn't working hard enough in class. Because of that, my teacher is now telling me that me getting accepted into his Extension 2 class is dependent on me getting above 75% in my prelim exam, which I am confident I can do.
But the results I got in that test woke me up and I am willing to work on maths everyday and work hard at it, I just don't know if that is enough to even go for Extension 2. I really love the subject, but I feel like I need some guidance at the moment. Don't be afaid tell me the harsh truth! I am all ears!
(Sorry if this is meant to be in the Extension 2 section

, I am new to the forums!)
