What have you done today to look after yourself?

Taking care of yourself is so important.

List here what you've done today to take care of yourself. If you can't think of anything, perhaps you should take a few minutes out to relax! :)

I went for a bit of a walk today at lunch. Was very pleasant. I like the weather at this time of year. I'm about to go and make myself a cup of tea - planning to enjoy it as much as possible hahaha. :)

I napped. I had a disaster of a shift and came back and slept. Tonight I'm going to have burgers with friends and then going to dancing. Study and work on a more positive note resumes tomorrow.

Came onto this thread, realised I hadn't done anything to look after myself today (unless you count showering, which is a prerequisite of every day).

Went and made myself a cup of tea, and am now taking some deep breaths and trying to not get annoyed at myself for not achieving anything today.

Did some core work outs at home today. Not much but I've promised myself to exercise at much as possible, to prepare for the cricket season fast approaching. :P

Now about to smash out some methods and bio work, hopefully without procrastinating. Is that even possible?

(unless you count showering, which is a prerequisite of every day).

Showering is an achievement, I can tell you. :P Definitely a form of self care for me, because I find it a challenge.

Yesterday I practiced yoga as usual.  I'm working towards this first-thing-in-the-morning practice, which I hope to establish long-term:

- yoga (30-60 min)
- shower
- healthy breakfast

... because that way, no matter how my day goes, I will have done so much for my physical and mental health.

I bought myself new shoes. My old pair were broken af (#lingo) and were just staying together with superglue and tape on the inside.

I don't have an issue with spend money -- just spending money on myself. So today was good

So, have done something slightly different today.

Wasn't actually for myself, but I bought flowers for my sister in law, and that makes me feel really good, because I like being kind to people. So that's what I've done to look after myself today :)

I spent a WHOLE half an hour just drawing. Just a lead pencil and a piece of paper. The results were better than expected!
So relaxing

What I've done to look after myself is to treat myself to a burrito after studying all morning ;D
