As for the requirements for Coop, I was referring to how hit mentioned that 3U math and physics is recommended knowledge. And on top of that, in the FAQ section where it addresses recommended/assumed knowledge, it mentioned how that kind of knowledge is desirable and although it won't prevent me from enrolling, it can put me at a disadvantage.

Yeah that's all the usual university boilerplate they shove into the documentation for every degree - They'll pick the best person for the scholarship. Whether that person does 3U or not is highly unlikely to matter much, if at all ;D

Hey guys,
So tomorrow's my first day of exams. This is probably me procrastinating even though I'm trying to practice essay writing but I keep getting distracted. I think at this point I kinda lost my motivation and I'm just exhausted. And the year has barely begun! I'm extremely conscious of burning out, but how does one tell if they're burning out?

Anyway, I'm starting to get paranoid with my essay responses- I typed out an essay for each module, answering one of the questions since my analysis and essay is essentially the same; I just need to twist my thesis to fit with the question. But at this point, I'm not even sure if I'm establishing a strong link with my thesis.

And my paranoia is also growing on my Modern and SOR responses. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything right anymore. I have a 'meh' attitude for my exams because I'm so exhausted but at the same time, I need to do well in my exams. I'm not even sure if it's because my stress is increasing drastically (is there even such thing as living without stress?) or if I'm just high on caffeine- but even then, I don't drink string coffee!

Anyways, short update from me because I really need to go back and do my work.

See you soon!

- Olivia

Ahh thanks! I feel like once you close the laptop and just do it, that stress from needing to study transforms into the stress from thinking about the exams.

But good luck to you too for your exams!

Omg I feel you! The 3 weeks leading up to half yearlies was the biggest load of drama for me and stress along with lots of tears. The only motivation I had was proving the people wrong who were talking about me behind me back!

I had 3 exams last week and I’m absolutely mentally and physically drained at this point. Especially last week where I had my economics exam and started studying at 9am, finished at 11:50pm and then got up at 6am the next morning to revise before the test.

Anyways I’ve only got one more exam this week, only downside it’s 3 hours!! Oh and plus my Mod C speech.

However, you seemed to have been on the ball and pumping out all your study so I know you’ll do amazing!

Best of luck for the upcoming weeks  ;D

Ouch 3 hours! What subject is this?

And same! I have a Society & Culture speech next week as well. It's not as bad since it's just me talking about my Major Work but we have to talk for 10 minutes ;-;

Yeah, I think that's one of my main motivations. A lot of people talk crap about me and I just wanna do well just to prove them wrong (especially how my friends and I just found out these group of guys were rating our appearance just because they 'have a thing for Asians.' Like wtf!)

I think it's great that your exams are spread apart since you get to have more time to study for other upcoming exams. It's more on the issue of making sure you don't burn out. I'm expecting my weight to fluctuate from stress eating and then reducing my food portions so I can spend more time studying -_-

But good luck to you too for your exams! Don't stay up too late (I'm a hypocrite for saying this because I sleep at ~12.30am ;D)!

It’s a good ol 3 hour business exam consisting of 20 MC, 40 marks SA and 2 essays! I’ve never sat a 3 hour exam before, max I have done is 2.5 hours and honestly it felt like the longest time ever.

Even my maths exam it was 2 hours but managed to finish the paper with 55 minutes to spare, don’t even know how that happened!

I have been too stress eating easter eggs this whole weekend, yet when I get to the actual exam day I am so anxious and literally eat nothings otherwise I feel physically sick.

Same, with the perceptions about myself from other people! However, mine seemed to be coming from teachers as well who are doubting my ability, which is odd I know.

However, I do feel pressure from people in my grade though as I seemed to maintain a 100% mark throughout business studies in year 11 so I fear if I stuff up in these exams they’ll all just be like oh what happened to you!!

But, once again all the best and good luck!

Hey guys,
English exam done and dusted! I was glad that they gave us the first question for both AOS and Module B since the question was a bit broad (since they gave us two possible questions for both areas). I was panicking last night because when I gave myself 40 minutes to write my essay I went over time and basically wrote eight pages on those HSC booklets (one page double sided = two pages). I was hoping that the stress is gonna help me cut down my essay but I ended up using up eight pages today for both of my essay- I usually write six pages so asking for another booklet was a bit strange for me.

I'm trying to memorise my responses for tomorrow because I have SOR and Modern ;-; Those are the subjects I do the best in so I'm hoping having two exams on one day isn't really gonna impact my performance.

Anyway, short update today because I need to study.

See you soon!

So good to hear your exam went well! Asking for anew booklet does feel good though hahaha, like there’s a weird sense of accomplishment there.

Best of luck for tomorrow!

That's so good! I had my english exam today as well and I think it went okay. Our discovery essay was "discoveries involve both gains and losses" which threw me off a little bit (I'm not sure if this is considered a tough AOS question but I found it hard). Anyways, I accidentally wrote my creative and started writing my essay in the same booklet! SO now when they go to get marked, half will be gone. I'm going to tell my teacher tomorrow and see if he can do anything about it because I'm reallyyyyyy worried. But, worse case scenario I take it to the education faculty thing and get it re-marked!

ALSO, I only managed to write three body paragraphs in my essay (2 on prescribed and 1 on related) so I'm also kind of worried about that. But my rank in English is currently 3rd so I'm hoping that my rank will hold me in the top 10!  :)

Ahaha for some reason it does- I think it's that false sense of 'I'm writing a lot please notice my efforts' even though my handwriting size is medium-large ;D

Hey guys,
Four more exams to go! I had two exams today: SOR and Modern. I never expected myself to write a 6-page essay for SOR; usually my essays are around 4-5 pages. I was kinda concerned I wasn't able to finish my essay but I managed to answer all my short answer questions in 20 minutes so I had 40 minutes to write my essay and managed to have 15 minutes to spare. It was funny because it was a sighted response and the RE coordinator was like 'You guys know the question- do you still want reading time?' and people put their hand up. I just sat there reading the marking criteria but I kinda wished he weren't given the reading time; I wanted to just jump into writing my responses.

I also managed to finish early for Modern, which was strange as well since I had 15-20 minutes to spare. I was really worried I wasn't able to finish writing my essay because my teacher told me I should set myself 20 minutes to write Part A so I can spend more time on Part B. Since my Part A was nearing 600 words typed, I was worried I wasn't able to finish my essay. But I managed to finish everything lol. I wrote two (and a bit) pages for Part A and 6 pages for Part B (and my normal and exam handwriting is medium size).

Anyway, I need to start practising my SAC speech (I have to talk about my PIP for 10 minutes welp).

See you soon!

More like scary for me- it feels like I missed out on something when I finish early. I wouldn't mind if there were 5-10 minutes to spare so I can quickly go through my exam but 20 minutes is too much time left over.

Good luck to you for your exams!

Omg, it feels so odd when you have spare time left over. This is gonna be so titf, but I literally finished my maths exam with 55 minutes to go. How that even happened, I really don't know. I did check over and correct some answers, so it wasn't like I didn't do nothing.

Hopefully, my early finish time of the exam doesn't compromise the actual mark I get!
