Does rank 1 always get the highest study score?

Say in a cohort of a school of 200 students. Will rank 1 in that cohort always get the top study score in that cohort? Can rank 2 overtake rank 3 in study score?

It's not uncommon for rank 1 not to get the highest study score in the cohort. Always possible considering the exam is generally worth 50%+ (outisde of folio stuff)

Thanks for the reply. Say in Business Management would it be uncommon?

From what I was told, rank 1 keep their ranking in the study scores and if any other rank scores higher in the exam then that just validates rank 1's score.
