Okay so im looking for a related text to use for AOS and everyone seems to mention Tim Wintons distant lands as a good one to use for a related text.
I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a copy, as i can't seem to find one (preferably for free!). If you have a pdf or found a link to one, please post it here!
Alternatively, im doing the tempest for my prescribed, what would be another good text to use specifically for someone looking at the tempest?
Thankyou!

I'm pretty sure you need to get a copy of the anthology "Minimum of Two". It think its on the iBook store, and probably most book stores as well  ;). Alternatively, Tim Winton is a famous Australian writer, so his work should be in most libraries. I think it would be under copywright for someone to post it here? but not sure!
Good luck hunting!

Prickles is right! I think I picked up my copy of Minimum of Two for about $14 somewhere. I also suggest Neighbours by Tim Winton from the anthology Scission.

It is under copyright unfortunately, both are. But I know there's a PDF of Neighbours floating around on the net somewhere because I've googled it before and it came up. I can't remember if it's the complete version or not, but if you're not familiar with Winton's writing, and therefore not sure if it's for you, have a look online to see what you can find.

I usually recommend Neighbours specifically for themes of prejudice, changing opinions, new environments, and new outlooks. Distant Lands similarly, except the introduction of a significant character or environment change is prevalent too.

Have a look here for a bunch of suggestions. It's my post-uni goal to get back to that list and keep adding to it :)
