Can I still get a 37 for Methods?

Hello everyone,
so I screwed up exam 1 horribly, this was a nightmare scenario for me, I question why I even try at times

SACS: 80% average (high performing cohort)
Exam 1: 26/40 ( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( )
Exam 2: A+ range

Can I still get a 36-37 at this point? People are saying Exam 1 was easy, so I'm starting to get stressed because I did so bad for it :(

You're the exact opposite of me last year hahahha. I didnt study and got like C+/B for sacs, then studied and got high a and mid a+ for exam 1 and 2 respectively, got 36. So ye, if your cohort is high preforming as you say you'll probably get A+ sacs and exam 2 and b/c+ for exam 1, so you still have some hope of getting 37. Lucky it was exam 1 though!!

Definitely, your scenario actually sounds almost exactly like mine for spesh last year (which I’d say is a good comparison given the exams are weighted the same way). I was ranked equal first (but at an average public school, our highest spesh score the year before me was 32 :P ), and thought I completely stuffed exam 1 (my best case was 30/40), and everyone seemed to be saying it was really easy. However, come exam 2, I found it surprisingly easy (although later realised I made some stupid mistakes on that one too), but still ended up with A+, B+, A+ and 39 SS. Although it’s hard to say exactly, i’d say our SAC and exam 1 scores are comparable, so just do your best for exam 1 and if you do better (which is without a doubt possible given I did it last year in spesh) you’ll get 37+. Good luck, and don’t let it get you down :)

Also, if it’s any consolation, I scored in the mid 40s for Methods last year and thought this years exam 1 was tougher than last years.

Hi -- don't worry! I'm in the EXACT same boat as you. I was averaging 80-90% for my SACs (I go to a top selective school), but I screwed up on yesterday's exam. I'm expecting a low A... or B+ at worst.
However, there's nothing we can do about it now. Hoping that all goes well today for the both of us so we can reap that 37+!
