At this point that would probably get you a high 40s (45-48) HAHAHAHA
That’d be amazing. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll actually get that high.  :'(

I’m going to be a hypocrite and ask for some predictions. Can’t stop thinking about the exam.
What would I get if I get 38-40/40 exam 1 and 72-75/80 exam 2? I’m ranked reasonably well in an extremely competitive cohort. I hope I end up scoring this high but wouldn’t be surprised if I did much much worse. So I’m trying to be optimistic.

Put it behind you and focus on spesh, what is done is done my friend. You can't change what you get in Methods, but you can for spesh.

Yup, I’ll try to do this. Thanks for the advice.  ;D

I've also gone ahead and done some worked solutions to the paper. I've noticed one or two things that I did differently from the one that's been already linked, so if it interests you feel free to look at mine too!

This exam's multiple choice section was easier than usual, but the extended response made up for it in some areas!

Sorry for all of these questions, but would 39/40 and 79/80 be a 50?

Hard to say, as usually you'll require a 40/40 to even have a chance of a 50. This year's exam was quite easy, so unfortunately I think you're more likely to get a 49.

I thought that was fairly tough, relative to other VCAA papers. My (hopefully correct) solutions are below (file size too large to attach here).
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xomM33jx7QvY7CAnnErVjaOJYhk9Bzcb

I believe MC 5 is A, not c. You would add the two values and then divide by two, because each value should differ by the same amount from the sample proportion

With 38/40 in part 1, maybe 72,73 /80 in part 2, and ranked 1, what SS might I get?

Yep, I've just picked that up looking at the second set of posted solutions.
Was pretty rushed when I got to that Q as I started with Section B, so didn't error check.

There are a couple of discrepancies with mine:
You have the correct answer for Q5, mine is incorrect, otherwise our MCQ answers are idenitcal.
In Q2c, you found where the derivative is zero, but we were asked to find where the rate of change is at its maximum.
Looks like you've commented on the other ones already

You're looking at a 42-45! Well done!

My q2c is wrong, misread the q. Refer to jazzycab's answers for that one :)
I've put some comments in on 3c,d and 4g. Sorry for those silly errors! Still studying for my exams so was definitely rushing and was not checking.
