I picked Ranee because she had the fastest 'speed' time which was vital for rugby 7's.

I said that the skin fold test was more accurate. Although it didn't ask for reasoning, it is because the skin fold test directly measures fat whereas the BMI test does not and also doesn't account for extra muscle, etc.

How come?
I thought validity because it is more specific to the demands of an intermittent team sport with frequent turns and stops :o

Was the question in reference to any fitness component? I can't remember. I figured it wouldn't be validity because both tests are measuring what they claim to be testing. In terms of specificity I agree with you, but we will just have to wait and see. Do you remember the question word for word?

Nope I can't remember word4word sorry
For the Lisa/reneee question, I went for the one that did well in the less important tests also (20m shuttle run and phosphate recovery) as those tests relate to key factors concerning "movement" (aerobic capacity/anaerobic capacity)

What I was really confused by was when it asked what the predominant energy system for the repeated 20m sprints test was. I didn't know whether it was asking for the test as a whole, or only during efforts. I went with the aerobic system..

I think it would have been one of the anaerobic systems which links into the next question about fatigue, where it would have been either PC depletion or H+ ion accumulation

What did people say for the skinfolds / BMI question?? We never went through Skinfolds during the year so i just said BMI were the better and then said skinfolds for the group of amateur individuals.... and now after seeing discussion everyone else has done the opposite. Have i definitely lost marks there?? I've held an A+ average all year and I'd hate to kiss it all goodbye on the exam

Any ideas about the MC question, Field testing v Lab testing, I still can't get my head around it, I ended up going with ethical, as the other 3 would not be why a field test is preferable.
