I also said depletion of fuels, but said passive recovery in order to replenish lost CP stores to complete the sprints

Yeah, it will either be:
- ATP-PC, depletion of PC, Passive recovery
or
-Anaerobic glycolysis, H+ ion accumulation, active recovery

Sample solutions from a past 50er below.

NOTE: Question 14c should read:
"Accumulation of hydrogen ions - H+ is a by-product of anaerobic glycolysis; accumulation of H+ increases blood pH leading to muscle acidosis. This prevents the release of Ca2+ (essential for optimal muscle contractions). By reducing calcium's ability to couple myosin and actin together, not all points in the myofilament are attached, creating weaker contractions. Thus, there is a reduction in muscular contractile force and speed, and hence, intensity."

MC14 - yes i was tossing up between A and C. Quite possibly C! I don't recall learning about internal/external hmm

MC15 - ah yes should indeed be C (apologies - a mis-circling on my behalf :-\)

Yes, it is.
There is a 30-second jumps test that is a test of LME ... may have been the confusion?
