Hi everyone! I'm planning on doing a short film for my ip in drama. Is anyone willing to show me theirs as an example? Any advice??
Thank you so much!!!
Hey! I made a short film in 2016

Here is the
link.
My BIGGEST tips would be to have a small cast. Like if you can, only have one person in it. Having such a large cast was a nightmare, especially because as much as it is important to you, your project is never going to be as important to other people. Find one - a small group of, dedicated people - either close friends, or even pay someone - people that you know you can count on. Because that is one of the biggest reasons why the film is arguably the hardest major work option. Not only is it just more work in general (its like a tonne of major works in one - the script, the production, the editing, etc. etc.), but also, unlike any of the other major work options, you are reliant on other people. It's like a group project, but it only matters to you.
Other tips, try and get pre-production and production done early, so that you have time for the inevitable reshoots!
Hope this helps! Sorry if the above seemed pessimistic, it isn't meant to be! I really enjoyed making my film (for the most part), and it's something that I'm really proud of

It's just really important to think out this decision because they're not joking when people say it's the hardest option!
